Sarah Of Canterbury Takes Photographs
Being a Sussex boy, I find it very difficult to applaud anyone or anything that comes out of Kent. So when I do, it's fair to say that I must really love this anyone or anything. Today it's an anyone. By my own admission, I am one of the world's worst photographers. I try, but I just can't do it. Maybe it's the lack of a tripod or maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Who knows? It means, though, that I have a huge admiration for anyone who has this talent. Anyone who has the ability to capture a moment that tells a story and provokes some kind of emotion. One such person is Sarah Canterbury. I like her because she takes photos of Ricky Ponting getting bowled, but I also like her because she just seems to be damn good at what she does. Whenever she uploads a new photo I am almost certainly going to think 'wow' or 'I wish I could do that' or 'why has she taken another photo of a cricketer's backside?'
